As a patient, or someone needing an appointment, one of the greatest frustrations is the wait for an opening, yet openings happen all the time when reservations and appointments are cancelled last minute or businesses have no-shows. The problem is they are usually same-day, and coordinating people into newly opened-up appointment slots is not possible. We know getting appointments when you want can be challenging, and we believe we have found a way around this.

As a doctor or other business owner dependent on appointments or reservations, these no-shows and cancellations are cause for a large source of lost revenue. Click here to learn how much these cancellations cost a solo practitioner per year. Schedgehog can fill these empty slots in your schedule, generating more revenue for your business.

Schedgehog was created by doctors with the busy urbanite and suburbanite in mind. When an appointment opens up, the receptionist (or hostess) easily enters it into Schedgehogs database. If a patient is driving around and realize, “hey, I really need an appointment with the doctor” they go to Schedgehog on their mobile, type in their zip code or the doctors name, and voila! a list of all the appointments available same day within a certain radius of your location appears. Version 2, which will launch in 2 weeks will include a module in which patients can can opt in on an email blast on a particular day of the week that they hope to score an opening based on a cancellation. This frees your receptionist from the duty of keeping a list of people who request a call when an appointment opens.
