Janet Helm is a writer, registered dietician and mom of twins.  Her passion is translating nutrition science into intelligible words – and healthy food choices.  She wants to help people make sense of nutrition news.  She doesn’t  think it needs to be complicated or confusing.  Janet Helm has been a media spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association and has discussed the latest hot topics on nutrition on various TV outlets, including Good Morning America, Today, ABC News and CNN.  She previously lived in New York, where she taught nutrition education at New York University.  She now lives in Chicago, and is a frequent contributor to the Chicago Tribune.

Janet describes her goal as to connect people to the resources they need to debunk nutrition myths, clear up the confusion, enjoy good food and improve their health.
